Melissa Charles is a New Jersey native with roots in South America and Europe. A proud Scarlet Knight, she graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Public Administration and has leveraged her degree to craft a career committed to public service & interest.

During Melissa's own wedding preparations, she realized how difficult it was to accommodate the children in her wedding party or guests with children. "We wanted our littlest loved ones and their parents to be fully present, but finding reliable event-based childcare felt nearly impossible. I created Celebration Sitters to prove that children don't have to be excluded simply because the setting is formal."
